Pastor Dan Patrick serves as the pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, committed to clear Bible preaching, Christ-centered discipleship, and shepherding families with steady care. With an emphasis on helping believers follow Christ together in unity and purpose, Pastor Patrick seeks to lead the church toward worship that honors God and everyday faithfulness that builds others up. Dan and his family count it a joy to serve the Friendship Baptist Church community and to welcome guests who are looking for a church home.
What We’re Studying
Real Relationships is a practical Sunday School series focused on how believers abide in Christ’s love—and how that love reshapes everyday life. Across six sessions, we study what Jesus teaches about obedient fellowship, sacrificial friendship, and lasting fruit, and we apply it to key settings such as the church, the home, the workplace, and our mission to others, so that faith strengthens real decisions and real relationships.
Family Circles is a practical series designed to help households realign their priorities by choosing to serve the LORD first, then ordering time, commitments, and relationships around that worship. Using Scripture as a blueprint, the series calls families to put away rival “gods,” practice faithful home rhythms, and invest their limited time where God assigns the greatest responsibility.
Masterpiece is our Sunday evening Bible Study series focused on how God’s Word shapes a steady, Christlike life in a confused world. Working through foundational truths and clear commands (including the Ten Commandments), we learn to protect what matters most—God’s rightful place in our hearts, the truth that anchors love, and the practical holiness that keeps us connected to God’s blessing.
Speaking the Truth in Love to LDS is a teaching series designed to help believers engage LDS friends, family, and neighbors with clarity, patience, and Christlike compassion. Drawing on key insights into beliefs and culture and keeping the biblical gospel at the center, we aim to remove unnecessary barriers, avoid talking past one another, and speak with both honesty and humility. As we walk through Scripture and practical principles, you’ll be equipped to listen well, ask better questions, explain essential Christian doctrine plainly and lovingly, and point to Christ’s finished work as the only sure hope for sinners.
